What An Assessment Entails
The MARS memory assessment is a state of the art evaluation of memory and related functions.
Here at MARS, we will collect a wide range of information that gives us a complete picture of your current memory functioning and allows us to assess any memory changes in the future. The MARS memory assessment includes:

a comprehensive memory test

a general test of cognitive functioning

a personality profile
-
a measure of current mood
-
a clinical interview.
The initial assessment will take approximately 2½ hours and you will be scheduled for a return visit the following week in order to get personal feedback from a trained clinician. Assessments during subsequent years will be briefer, because all tests will not have to be repeated. You can rest assured that the MARS staff will make your visit a comfortable experience. In addition, services are available for friends or family that might accompany you on your visit.
